About Us

Council of Australasian Catholics

Welcome to the Council of Australasian Catholics. CAC is a welcoming, non-hierarchical community rooted in Catholic heritage but free from institutional constraint. We are practising an ancient future. Something is stirring among Catholics across Australasia. People who love their faith and long for it to breathe more freely are finding each other. They are asking honest questions, seeking deeper learning, and daring to imagine a Church that is truly alive to the Spirit moving in our time. New ecclesial forms are emerging to provide structures relevant to evolving faith. CAC exists to serve that movement.
